The Amazon Device Client Platform (DCP) provides common functionality for Amazon apps on Android devices. That functionality includes:

• Application Settings - Define settings for an application that can differ from device to device, and be configured remotely.
• Over-the-air (OTA) application updates (there is no API surface for OTA; it just happens automatically in the background).
